FAQ's

  • What is red light and near-infrared light?

Red and Near-Infrared (NIR) light are specific wavelengths of natural light that act as "fuel" for your cells. Our advanced system uses a multi-spectrum approach:

    • Red Light (660nm): Stays near the surface of the skin to promote a youthful, glowing complexion and even skin tone.
    • Near-Infrared (850nm): Penetrates into the muscles and joints to support faster recovery after physical activity.
    • Deep Near-Infrared (1060nm): This is our "secret weapon." This rare, longer wavelength reaches the deepest tissue layers, providing intensive support for wellness that standard 850nm devices simply cannot reach.

Think of it as a "cellular recharge" that works from the surface of your skin all the way down to your deepest tissues.

Red and near-infrared light exposure supports cellular energy production and overall wellness. Sessions are designed to help the body recharge, support recovery, and promote healthy skin.

  • How long is a session?

For most users, a session of 10 to 15 minutes per treatment area is the "sweet spot." Our high-irradiance LEDs are designed to deliver an effective dose of light quickly, so you can easily fit your wellness ritual into a busy day.

  • How often should I do sessions?

Consistency is the secret to great results. We recommend 2 to 5 sessions per week. While some people enjoy daily use, giving your body a day or two of rest each week allows your cells to fully process and utilize the energy from the light.

  • When will I see results?

While many people feel a "warmth" and mood boost immediately, physiological changes happen over time.

    • 1–4 Weeks: Many notice improved skin tone and faster recovery after workouts.
    • 8–12 Weeks: This is when the most significant benefits for deep tissue support and skin vitality typically peak.

Many people report feeling more relaxed and recharged after their first session.

Visible changes, such as improvements in skin appearance or recovery, typically require consistency over time. Most clients begin to notice more noticeable benefits after several sessions.

For best results, we recommend regular sessions as part of your weekly routine.

  • What should I wear during the session?

For the best results, the light needs direct contact with your skin. We recommend wearing  lightweight clothing or no clothing at all for full-body sessions. Red light cannot effectively penetrate through thick fabrics or heavy sunscreen.

Most people wear minimal clothing so the light can reach the skin. Sessions take place in a private room, so you can be comfortable.

  • Is red and near-infrared light safe?

Yes. Red light therapy is non-invasive and uses non-ionizing light, meaning it contains no harmful UVA or UVB rays like the sun. It is a gentle, heat-free experience that is safe for all skin types and has been used in professional wellness settings for decades.

Red and near-infrared light exposure is widely used in wellness and recovery settings and is non-invasive. Sessions at Rosso Ritual are designed to provide controlled and comfortable light exposure.

  • Do I need eye protection?

While red light is generally safe, the LEDs are  bright. We recommend closing your eyes during your sessions.  For maximum comfort and to ensure the most relaxing and distraction-free experience, we highly recommend using our  goggles (available for purchase [here). These are specifically designed to block the intense brightness of our high-irradiance LEDs, allowing you to fully unwind while your body recharges.

  • Is this a medical treatment?

No. Our systems are high-performance wellness and lifestyle tools designed to support your body’s natural vitality. While our technology utilizes advanced light spectrums recognized for their deep-reaching effects, our devices are intended for cosmetic and restorative purposes only.

They are not designed to diagnose, treat, or cure any specific medical conditions. We always recommend that anyone starting a new wellness ritual- especially those with specific health concerns or who are pregnant - consult with their healthcare professional first.
